Policies and Procedures for any and all Client(s) (“Client”) of Edgewood Parlour LLC, DBA: Beauty Junkie ("Beauty Junkie").

Booking Policy

A valid credit card is required to book an appointment. Client agrees that this credit card may be charged subject to any and all policies listed below.

Cancellations, No-Shows, & Late Arrivals

Beauty Junkie will send an appointment confirmation to the email on file 72 hours before the scheduled time.

Each appointment is specifically tailored to the individual Client, including all necessary preparation time, which impacts the stylist’s overall schedule.

  • Cancellations & Rescheduling: Appointments canceled or rescheduled less than 24 hours in advance will result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the expected hourly cost, charged to the credit card on file.

  • No-Shows: Clients who do not show up for their scheduled appointment will be charged 100% of the expected hourly cost to the card on file.

  • Late Arrivals: Clients who are more than 15 minutes late may not be able to receive their full service and may have to reschedule. At the stylist’s discretion, a late arrival may be considered a no-show. If any service is provided, the Client agrees to be charged for the full amount of time booked, plus any additional time accrued due to late arrival.

Charges are based on the hours booked and the hourly rate of the scheduled stylist.

There are no returns or refunds for services performed.

Expected Hourly Cost is calculated as the individual stylist's rate listed on the website for the number of hours the appointment was scheduled for.

Refunds & Adjustments

All services rendered are considered final sales. Beauty Junkie does not offer refunds for services or retail products.

If a Client is dissatisfied with their service and requires an adjustment, they must notify their stylist directly within 7 days of their appointment. Stylist contact information can be found on their profile pages at beautyjunkiejax.com/artists.

Hair Extensions

  • Beauty Junkie requires full payment for the cost of the extensions to be paid prior to booking the installation of the product (“Deposit”).

  • The deposit is non-refundable and must be paid when the appointment is scheduled. Clients will pay the total cost of the hair that Beauty Junkie quoted in addition to the Deposit.

  • Any quotes provided prior to installation are estimates only, Beauty Junkie reserves the right to make necessary changes if the need arises. Including but not limited to, the need to add additional hair charges, and the client will pay for the additional hair at the time of service.

  • The quoted amount of hair may not be fully used, any hair not used will be released to the Client.

  • The Deposit will be applied towards the total cost of services Beauty Junkie provides, including the cost of styling the hair.

  • New extension clients who cancel their appointment before 48 hours of the scheduled time, will be able to take home any brand and/or hair purchased.

  • There are no refunds for deposits or other hair product purchases.

Email Communication

We use 3rd party email applications for scheduling, confirmations, news, and marketing purposes. When you consent to our terms of service, you are giving Beauty Junkie consent to contact you via email. You may opt-out by using the unsubscribe button at any time. Please note that by doing so, you will not be given any warning about future price increases or policy changes.
